What did I do you ask?
Medium diced 10 potatoes. With what was left over after squaring off taters, I did a small dice and burnoise.
Then I boiled my painstaking work for 10 minutes, added some minced shallot, minced garlic, salt, pepper, 1/4 cup of milk and 1 tbsp of butter and made some mashed potatoes to go with a chicken breast for dinner.
Maybe I will make some potato soup with the next batch. Tonite however is Culinary Math study time. Conversions and equalities.
I really hate math.
But I will live.
